Panakawa Maha Vidyalaya, marked their 6 th national champion victory in Innovative Teachers & Students National Competition 2011.

Miss B.R Dahanawathi, won the second place in 1-8 category and the First place in 12-13 category as well, in the competition held in 2011.

The Awarding Ceremony was held in Galadari , the chief guest; Minister of Education, Bandula Gunawardhana presented the awards to the winners.

Miss B.R. Dhanawathi  was qualified for the International Innovative Teachers competition which is to be held in New Zealand in from 18^th to  24^th of March 2012.
